Hi Y'all

Today went considerably well, considering the fact that it's an even week Tuesday and even week Tuesdays are generally hateful because it's the longest day of the week and there's trip science plus math and trip science automatically translates into crazy quiz spamming which is duh, not good. But today was a happy day 'cos we got t make slime and superballs!!! Plus Chem and Phy quizzes were surprisingly okay :D

Chem and Bio blocks the week after next, I need to do well! Henceforth i will study with every fibre of my being and stop procrastinating!!! All it takes is a strong mind and willing spirit yes? :D I will not fail you Chemistry, I won't!

The past week has been a total madrush! Chinwen and I were literally on the verge of dying because of IH SIA, BSP and LA presentation. And we're presenting LA tmrw.. we havent even rehearsed yet. MrsT is gonna kill us i swear :(

I managed to get federer vs nadal on tape! Gonna continue watching later. Missed out on most of the match because I had a gathering that night but yeah I still can't get over the fact that Nadal won. Federer Ftw!!

Was at united sq in the afternoon and there was this free backbone check going on so I ended up getting forced by my parents to go for the screening. Turns out my spine's curved and my shoulder blades are uneven !? Though it wasn't reflected during the health check at school. Not sure whether it's scoliosis but apparently it causes headaches and the like which explains why I've been getting killer headaches lately :(

I'm done with my GCP essay! and most of R&F theorem. Can't be bothered to rewrite my EOY compo, cos I'm a lazy brat HAHA

Anyway, today's new year eve! 2008 hasn't been a good year (well taking into account the credit crunch and earthquake and whatnot) But personally I've also lost heart in people and many things and.. it's been more downs than ups for me i guess. It's been a whirl of a year, but also with good stuff and fond memories nevertheless (beijing '08!) I've learnt a lot, and looking back at the end of the day I realise it all just amounts to perspective so... Next year is gonna see me with a fresh change of perspective! Which means regaining my drive and not being afraid to do the things I wanna do :)

I hope everyone's having a rollicking good time now counting down! While I welcome the new year with open arms... in front of my tv. All the best for year 2009!

Baked meringues today! :)

The first batch turned out disastrous, because the knife caught fire (long story) which was damn scary! I stood there for a full five seconds before getting the water... Yes I have slow reflexes and I'm not proud of it. Plus the recipe wrote 95 degC/200 F but dad and I thought the oven was in Fahrenheit so we set it to 200. Needless to say, everything got burnt. So I tried a second time and. Tadaa! The meringues turned out really sweet, but i guess they're meant to be since they're basically just eggs and sugar. Recipe's from here, I swear allrecipe's damn good I'm gonna use it for all my future baking endeavours! :)

I finished my Commonwealth essay! Like, finally!!! Cleared Probability too, so it's two more essays to go, plus R&F theorem. Speaking of which, I just spent 4 hours at TLL yesterday doing differentiation. I can't believe I'm already getting a taste of life in Sec 4, it's the festive season and I still have homework on my agenda!! Life can't get any better.

And... I'm starting to fall in love with John Mayer all over again! His vocals are damn good and you should see what he does with his guitar, it's fricking awesome

Oh and I got cool black specs too! Yay 8)

School reopens in 2 weeks!?!! i can't imagine being in sec 4, srsly. met chinwen in school in the morning to get started on Chi SIA stuff, we have so much to do! Am going running with rania on friday, and then it's baking at her house :) which kinda defeats the purpose of running in the first place, actually. haha!

I've currently finished watching season 2 of Heroes, and 2 episodes of season 3 (because rania got the pirated copy of season 3 in china) - I need something to watch!! does anyone have any good dramas/serials to recommend?

Homework's still relatively untouched, which is cause for distress. I need motivation/inspiration to get started on my essays! I've recently rediscovered how i'm not cut out for writing - i hate getting stuck midway, it's like your brain juices can't flow properly or something. I'd rather do math anytime.

then it's beijing in approximately two weeks time.. am almost done with shopping for winter clothing! it's china for a whole month!!! i'm pretty psyched :} on the other hand, we've gotten back most of our exam scripts already, cept for two papers (math and chinese)! results have been less than satisfactory, what with a C6, or was it a C5 for bio (the paper was a freaking killer) borderline A1 for physics and chem, and borderline A2 for IH and LA. right now i've pretty much gotten over my marks.. am just hoping that math and chinese will be okay, and i've set my mind on thinking that next year will be better :)

meanwhile i'm going to get started on episode 4 of heroes season 2!!

i can't believe it's saturday already, and that school reopens on monday! i know when monday morning comes i'll be desperately wishing it wasn't monday - i can't stand the feeling you get when you're being deprived of sleep. don't we all just hate monday bluessssss

friday was movie and lunch with nic and rania! my sassy girl was a complete waste of money (reviews gave it 1 out of 5) we should have just watched dark knight again srsly! but the company made up for it (: lunched at nydc, shared a lasagna, ham and mushroom penne pasta and mudpie! and talked, about stuff in general. yay i love you guys next outing soon k! went to rania's house today morning to mug math, did trig and revised a few topics on... heymath hahaha

okay i'm bent on becoming a crazy mugger from now on! because i've decided i won't want to drown in misery just because i flunked endofyears so yes i will pwn eoys, i swear. especially math, i will. not. fail. math. okay time to conquer the books, wish me luck! will most likely be on a hiatus, until after eoys

everyone's really hyped up about the olympics these days, and likewise i'm starting to get into some crazed olympic mode :D michael phelps just got his 8th gold today!! awesome stuff. and i think i'm getting hooked on tennis, caught nadal vs djokovic the other day, and federer in men's doubles gold medal match yesterday!!! HAHAHA DAMN EXCITING and usain bolt in 100m!

I guess it's about time i updated... so yes, here's a recap of the past week or so!

080808 was connect s'pore at the old police academy! apparently we were all supposed to link hands, along with a few thousand other people, then recite the pledge together with the president. in the end connect(ing) s'pore didn't quite work out because of hiccups along the way, after the dj counted down no one knew we were supposed to say the pledge so yeah, we ended up reciting the pledge in the tentage instead. and i didn't see president nathan! otherwise, it was pretty good fun :D especially during community singing, and when we got bored while standing all lined up along the road (i swear all the people in the cars passing by were staring at us HAHAHA) we went crazy and started waving to the cars and buses... and some people actually waved back hahaha how awesome. until we got scolded by ms vd! because she claimed that we would end up causing an accident (...) what a spoiler tch.

catched the telecast of the beijing olympics opening ceremony at 8.08pm! it was amazing i must say, really puts china on the world stage now. a pity i didn't catch the lighting of the olympic torch! heard it was really awesome, but halfway through the marching in of all the teams (which took really long btw) i started dozing off, until dad woke me up to see the s'pore team, with li jiawei as flag bearer. after which i promptly dozed off again, so i decided to go to sleep hahaha

090808! national day, which wasn't all that eventful for me ): which reminds me i haven't wished s'pore a happy birthday so happy belated 43rd birthday s'pore! didn't catch much of ndp '08, except for the fighter jets, which i thought were pretty cool!

wednesday was pig heart dissection, before the prac i had this feeling i was going to puke because of my breakfast haha. in the end it wasn't as bad as i had expected it to be! i dissected my heart wrongly so i ended up having to cut across it another time, and that kinda split it into four so it looked damn weird. also we had to poke through the aorta and stuff... and i didn't wear a glove, even though i had planned to. i'm a brave soul! :D basketball after that was fun and more fun! we owned, as usual. yay! watched the olympics at night, michael phelps was absolutely brilliant. the us swim team was leading like crazy omg. support phelps! :D

on a heavier note, my grades have officially hit an all new low ): i guess i really screwed blocks 2 up, which is really sad. math: 30/60 physics: 34/60 chem: 34/60 bio: 43/60 (my only okay paper!!) chinese: 71/110 i realise i'm on the brink of failing math and science. i need to freaking pull up my grades!!! full time nerdifying, anyone?

MY SKIN IS. FLAKING OFF.

it starts with weird white small bubble like things whenever i help out at the hospital (like today, with qianlin) and now it is literally starting. to. come. off. as if my sunburnt ankles aren't enough - the skin peeled off already (which was really gross, btw) dad refuses to believe something is majorly wrong and keeps saying it's just the aftereffects of obs, which really isn't any consolation.
PEIYU IS OFFICIALLY IN A STATE OF DISTRESS.

i don't care i am going to see a doctor, like tomorrow or something. I'm starting to feel like a chameleon, or whatever you call them. you know those animals that shed their skin and stuff.

Ms Ang/Mr Ang didn't come so NO PHYSICS = free period for 1.5 hours ( :) )

NO LANG ARTS (for two days in a row!)

bad stuff:

1) major sleep deprivation/brain drain - which is very very bad because i sleep/zone out in class (especially during math and IH). and on majorly bad days like yesterday i slept for >15 minutes during lang arts, it being free period since mr tan wasn't in school and mrs lai forgot to take over his lesson. plus i resort to sleeping wherever possible, even for the slightest amounts of time like. in between lessons ): I THINK I NEED CAFFEINE.

2) i got reminded of the fact that i can't go for bsp camp!!!!! because i'll be stuck in obs not that i'm not looking forward to it but WHY WHY WHY CAN'T I HAVE BOTH. ):

3) SABBATS. i got humour for am session and my 6th choice for pm session. ULTIMATE FRISBEE ): i put iceskating fencing and bowling as my first 3 choices and the stupid system refused to be kind enough to actually allocate me something i wanted. this is so unfair i'll be stuck in school throwing discs around while others go to like. fuji ice palace ):

2.4 today! and pe was first thing in the morning so...what an awesome way to start the week. but at least we got by! yes my timing's lousy la but at least i ran all 8 rounds without stopping! and thank goodness my lactic acid didn't act up so yeah... relieffff. sadly no one in 308 managed an A, haha mainly 'cos we don't have that many sports people i guess but still napfa's finally done and over with yay! and well done to everyone who passed {:

zuo wen today was a total killjoy, like low point of the day omg. ji laoshi actually wanted us to do it last friday but it was postponed to this week 'cos of lack of time. and it isn't like some cliched bao zhang bao dao or whatever it's a san wen. about. ai qing. (which means love btw) and therefore fluffy topic = omg wth i can't think of anything = insane extent of writer's block so i only managed to get pass exactly one page of my gaozhi at the end of 1 hr. which already is nothing short of a miracle hahaha. in the end ji lao shi didn't allow us to finish it at home so yeah we have to finish it by the next lesson when she gives us another 1/2 hour. ( :( !!!!! )

i swear i officially hate zuowens.

last friday was jgs semis at ri! hwachong vs nanyang, ri vs njc. and... we beat hwachong!!! nanyang debate pwn pwn pwnzxzx. so we're moving on to the finals, up against ri at siewmei auditorium :D i can't wait x3

thursday was sap seminar! 301 303 and 308 were the only classes which were able to watch the thing live at the audi but we still got chased to the lt in the end due to lack of seats. spoilerrrrr. ): but overall it was still worth it since we skipped almost an entire day's worth of lessons, except for physics that is! me and chinwen were busy trying to amuse ourselves last week, what with going around talking to people in our warped versions of cantonese cum hokkien, hongky accents and all. random zihigh moments tsk :D

watched the arena just now! fairfield vs nanyang, which hyped me up quite a bit hahaha. and i saw myself on tv HAHA. and we're up against sas for the semis this saturday, go team you guys will own x3

IH tomorrow! LAST PAPER, which marks the end of blocks hurray. HAHAHA well for this term at least. Just finished going through the notes thank goodness it's SBQ tomorrow and not structured = less memory work/brain muscle! but i'm still pretty much screwed taking into account how i'm not really confident about any of the papers. lang arts today was a killer and physics HAHA my 5 marks got blown away just because i couldn't draw the stupid vector.

And we still have lessons after IH tomorrow! what.a.spoiler. ):

Arena is airing now! Okay i think it probably ended already since it's almost 915. AHHH to think i wanted to watch hci vs sji! since i didn't really catch the previous 2 episodes. but i still decided to go through the notes for IH tsk. speaking of which the arena recording for round 2 was held yesterday! Jurong sec vs us and uh i think we're not supposed to publicly disclose the results but still... we won!! SEMIS HERE WE COME. :D and great job natalee eewei nettie jessica you guys did awesome x3

the first round of fairfield against us hasn't been aired yet i need to catch it haha. oh and youjia and i thought we could get seats that weren't so near to the front during the recording yesterday since we didn't want to get noticed on national tv but in the end we got asked to sit at the first row. HAHA then guess what there was this screen right in front of us near the floor that showed what the studio cameras were filming throughout the entire recording so then we realized we could check when we were actually on tv and when we weren't HAHAHA. :D

my first update in about 3 weeks or so! yes i know my blog's getting stale so this is yet another attempt to revive it :D

tomorrow's OBS everyone's getting psyched/freaking out it's kinda weird to feel detached from the entire thing. the whole of NYDC isn't going, along with some other CCAs which are involved in comps as well. HAHAHA I WANT TO GOOOOOOOO! tsk. oh well good luck to all those going you guys will pull through! jiayou and have fun {: i think i'll probably hyperventilate the day before the actual thing, although i'm really really looking forward to getting a tan!! all those not going for obs are going in june, which is a still a long way from now. so yeah, i guess i'll worry about it when the time comes. haha

had lots of stuff going on for the past week or so - JGs, invest, arena etc and not to mention work hah. from tomorrow until the end of the week will be training and more training, though i think not going for OBS means slightly more extra time for mugging BLOCK TESTS UGH. ): there's a huge possibility of tearing all my hair out because of physics haha velocity-time graphs and equations of motion are absolutely hateable ]:

UPDATE!

today was CNY celebrations, and hui chun! CNY concert was as usual, during hui chun quite a number of people left for their cca performances so the rest of us stayed in class. chinwen started declaring her love for jay chou on the calligraphy paper yes well done and coincidentally my newspaper had jay chou on it cos it was the life section so i wasn't allowed to paint on it haha. and i think my dui lians turned out pretty nicely okay fine maybe not, but still :D

yesterday 308 sang CNY songs to the teachers hahahaa and we got angbaos! from mr mac and mrs lai. mrs s tan's the best la, on monday she decided to give us a pop quiz so guess what she put the question papers in angbaos tsk and everyone was like -.- the sad thing about yesterday was that we had a dreaded lijie to do and i was with pek during lunch so i chionged the summary during contact time and the last question during chinese lecture after school ssshhhhh. and because i didn't eat for the entire day my stomach was growling like crazy but i realise in sec 3 it's quite common to be deprived of food since i havent been eating properly for a few weeks already ):

oh and we got our maroon/dark red debate jackets on monday during training they are freaking awesome seriously {: then on tuesday morning the whole of nydc wore them to the quadrangle for morning assembly t'was really really cool :D yay jacket love x3

At least IH openbook assignment was just over today it was okay but i think half an hour defeats the purpose of having openbook i'd rather memorise everything and have more time haha. Math quiz was just dumb i didn't see question 2 so i spent the remaining time checking and attempting the bonus question and only realised i left one question out when time was up sheesh i hate how blind i can be sometimes, tsk

Had BSP lecture conducted by mrs st today, was on the verge of dozing off halfway throughout but i was seated at one of the first few rows so i just kept staring hard at the screen haha. and it started pouring like crazy on my way home so my bag got drenched. ):

school so far has been a madrush! with sec 1 orientation and all, plus all the SIAs and proposals and NYAA and whatnot have started flooding in so basically it just comes down to stress. and more stress! okay maybe it's not that bad but i think it takes time to adapt and yeah i guess i'm not really good at this haha ):

but overall i think 308's pretty awesome! and our class only has like 26 people so yeah well done (: and it's really quite cool getting mr mackintosh as form teacher hahaha. oh well tmrw's last day of orientation already! i love 107 although some of them keep bullying me (tsk) but i guess they remind me of how much i miss sec 1 and 2 life. and sec ones are really fab because they always hype you up and stuff so i'll miss you 107! x3

hahaha speaking of which i guess my blog has been pretty much dead this year, it's weird how my posts only total up to 45 (although a few months were spent at xanga) but still. haha

anyway, homework's cleared, and i managed to cram in some spring cleaning within the past few days, so at least now my table and most of my cupboards look decent :D theoretically speaking i should be ready for '08 i guess, since most preparations are already done, but realistically i think we all know that it'll be a challenging year - new classes, new faces, new responsibilities, increased workloads, and the list goes on. but tomorrow will be the beginning of a fresh start, and it's time to gear up and take on 2008 (:

this year with 202 has been amazing, really, and it's hard to sum up everything we've shared and experienced. so although it's time to move on, i'd still give anything to relive those times together. thank you guys, and especially to nicole, chinwen, iris and rania, thanks for being so awesome you all are the greatest friends anyone could ask for, ily loads.

i'll try to stick to my resolutions next year, promise (: hahaha and more work plus more expectations = working harder!

it's christmas eve! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

and this reminds me that school's starting in exactly 9 days :( when i'm so not ready for sec 3. i guess it'll take a while for the whole get-back-into-school mood to sink in, oh boo. on a happier note, i've finished my dushubaogao! YAY joy to the world. (:

baked at rania's house last wed and on thu morning! cookies, peppermint bark brownies, blueberry muffins and chocolate chip brownies hahaha i know you're starting to drool {: the stuff mostly turned out great 'cept that the first batch of brownies tasted more like cake and the muffins were really really bland but yeah i think we were quite accomplished yay rania my baking partner :D pictures will be up soon! once i transfer them from my phone.

class gathering was supposed to be on thu but it was cancelled due to poor response, tsk. went back to sch for sec 1 registration on fri, spent the time making sure the sec ones knew where to queue up and stuff in the hall, then stayed back with natalee for extra duty near the canteen.

i've gotten xmas presents already! but i still need to finish writing cards by today. am baking brownies later, for the christmas gathering tmrw. i hope they turn out edible hahaha (:

it's raining again! which is what's happening for days already. but although it gets dreary and all i don't mind! srsly cos some construction work thing's going on right behind my house and they start work at unearthly hours which means i dont get to sleep past 9. and then the noise pollution just gets worse and i can't even blast music to cover the noise cos everything just adds up and the headaches start getting to you. which fyi is just really depressing. ): but they stop work when it rains! which means peace omg, at long last. yay bring the rain on man! ftw.

have been facebooking nonstop these few days, i'm convinced i'm gonna waste my life in front of the com if i don't stop. i'm like literally glued to the com for hours, but that aside haha i think the university guy who came up with this thing's quite awesome really. but it hypes me up hahaha don't ask me why so those who haven't go sign up (:

met dad at plaza sing in the afternoon to replace our starhub cable thing cos apparently it got quite cranky. saw vanice with her mum and sister! i think. then had sushi for lunch yay

cousin's wedding tmrw! haha but i don't know whether i still have to go for tuition. oh and homework has been untouched (except for math) stupid dushubaogao. and the improve on the eoy la compo thing. grawr. and heroes is the love! masi oka is plain adorable in the show (he's the guy who plays hiro nakamura) damn cute omg he's my new luv :D everyone go watch!

and so. catched the golden compass last thu, was pretty good cept for the fact that it just ended when i thought there was more to it, so yeah the ending was kinda abrupt i guess. anyway rania left right after the movie for her skating thing so only nic and i were left. haha surprisingly time flew (although our energy levels were quite low) and we spent the entire time wandering aimlessly around the whole of heeren. but we talked quite a bit, about random stuff. :D then went back to cineleisure around 3 for pastamania, sat there for almost an hour and went home. oh well nic just flew off to m'sia today and apparently she's going to buy me ah lian stuff haha wdv have fun in kl and langkawi (:

oh and i just joined facebook a few days ago, haha it's pretty addictive which is a good thing really, cos it keeps you hooked which equates to wasting time. :D and dou niu yao bu yao is nice! gonna get started on ep4 tmrw.

back from psl camp!

camp was better than i expected, and my groupmates were really cool so yeah on the whole it was pretty awesome {: night trail on the first day was a huge success - was station i/c along with the other exco people! and although my station area was freaking dark and all at least huishan was with me so not that bad haha. was hilarious watching the groups try to guess who was who using my wooden ladle. and i luv the lightsticks so kewl! haha. and everything turned out great yay exco'08 ftw. :D

yup and our group combined with nat's group! aquila + dorado aquirado we ruled. {: amazing race on the second day was okay, saw tons and tons of really cute dogs at the botanical gardens haha. and um. lots of jap tourists, some of whom were running around. er chasing one another barefooted on the grass patches. amusing, much. :D and huishan bought us a tub of nutella icecream from island creamery! mhmm heaven(: talentime was really fab as well, our performance rocked yay i love us. and it turned out we got first during prize presentation whoo!

all these are just bits and pieces 'cos im too lazy to type out everything in detail. but everything was great la (: oh yes and we slept in the conf rms haha i was so glad we had aircon yay. photos soon! once i get them. and so i'm watching the golden compass tmrw! with rania and nic yay yay

okay eh debate camp was over last week, followed by scholarship interview on wed. haha camp was enjoyable (but since it's alr been a week im too lazy to do updates) (: and the interview was well, in a word, screwed. and psl camp's coming up on mon i guess we should all get equipped with baygon and more baygon cockroach infestations! ):

i'm back from taiwannnnnnnnnnnnnnn! to this sunny little island we call s'pore :D

Haha the weather there's pretty good, considering the fact that it's still early November and all. and shopping consecutively at night markets the prices there are relatively okay/cheap so i managed to get 4 tops and 4 pairs of shoes/flats for about $120 sing dollars whoo {: and to top it off, the food there is freaking awesome trust me :D yay and i got stuff for you peoplezxzx xoxo.

couldn't post about C&D night cos i had to do last-minute packing and my flight was early next morning so thank you iris, rania, jessica, nicolette, nic for your flowers x3 although nicole you didn't manage to pass the flowers to me since i left early but it's okay since i owe you guys one (: 202A pwned like crazy everything plus the lights and sounds worked out perfectly i love you guys. couldn’t watch 202B’s performance since i left early but i know we were really awesome i’ll miss drama and all of you a hell lot. shit i can't believe i'm going to be sec3 alr, it's all too fast to be true. i'll miss you, 202 x3

haha am blogging now because i have nothing better to do. nic chinwen kim and iris came over ytd to make jellies! haha and mum bought us donuts that were delish (: went to check on the jellies ytd night and found that the tubs with green jelly were still stuck in the freezer and that a layer of ice had formed on them (!) so i quickly refrigerated them in the bottom compartment. went to check on them this morning and found out that the ice had melted into a layer of water on the jelly (to my relief phew) hahaha omg how fascinating. :D okay yay today's fundraising 202's selling cookies brownies and jelly come down and support us! oh yes and advertising for tmrw:

friday was officially the last day of school

felt that time flew, the day was spent watching white chicks, bits of underworld on jac's laptop, camwhoring and level closure. oh and 2 ponytails! hahaha the whole of 202 started tying two ponytails in the morning other classes must have thought we were crazy but it was damn cool haha :D class montage screwed up during level closure but in the end it was okay cos we still got to watch the entire thing in class. no one cried, i guess the whole thing still seemed surreal and reality hasn't quite sunk in yet. but if you count c and d night out, until now i still can't believe it's the last time we get to spend time together as a class

202: for all the times we shared, did stuff that no one else dared to, irritated just about every teacher that taught us, or simply just for the spirit in us and the moments that bonded us all together, thank you. these two years have been really special and unlike any other, and i'm happy that all of us have made it this far together as one class. i love you all because you guys mean everything. (: anything just to relive those memories, 202'07 forever. <3

i'm feeling bored so i shall blog abt the past few days!

haha highlight of yesterday was cosplay although before that we were totally unprepared. but 202 managed to ingeniously come up with something last minute despite the fact that it was seriously impromptu lol. hahah so our play was supposedly adapted from some jap manga called karasetofu and eiffel was fairy tofu chinwen shoyu the evil warrior person and iris princess yoshinate :D then chinwen was wrapped up in jackets and iris had to wear this frizzy blonde wig thingum omg damn funny pls {: but we rocked anyway and other classes were really fab haha almost died from laughing. then we had some talk at the audi abt projects in sec3 i dont know LDP/SMP/OM? then rest of the time in between was spent playing cards and stuff yup.

monday was supposed to go to sembawang park for family day outing but in the end it started raining so we watched this china film in the lt and had class party. haha then burnt some calories playing volleyball poisonball and stuff in the hall with kim jm eunice chinwen vnc iris jacq and a few others :D

then went home in the morning today cos of gastric pains missed sandwich making! came home slept for 2 1/2 hours am feeling slightly better now. ohwell there's spring cleaning tmrw and it's 2nd last day of school alr im gonna miss 202 ):

ytd was art museum visit, was pretty much okay. haha obviously not as fascinating as the art tchers claimed it would be. wasn't much except for the fact that it was scorching and some of the exhibits were kinda freaky :/ haha thankfully i managed to pocket my rubik's cube so nic and i could waste time on the bus and stuff. {:

today was interclass volleyball games hahaa we won the championships for both cup and plate division and came in fourth for bowl division omg :D 202 BLOWS YOU OFF YOUR FEET YO. don't you love us, no? x3 after that stayed in class and slacked, played rush hour connect four im starting to feel like a nerd cos the stuff we play are like uhm. intellectually stimulating tsk 8) hahaha

today was spent discussing the family day outing thing, playing murderer musical chairs blind man's buff and watching 200 pounds beauty haha. 200 pounds beauty is so nice omg i like. :D

ytd went to j8 with iris for pastamania because we were supposed to go eat carrot cake at toapayoh but nic happily changed her mind and backed out last minute. so then i decided to go although i had to take 13 home i don't like 13 it's my most hated bus hahaha. yay pek i know im nice -bows- teehee but the ham and sausage baked rice was good haha i like the chilli flakes {:

day before! watched the nanny diaries at cine orchard with iris chinwen gen. the movie was pretty good, after which we ate at the same hk cafe place chinwen and i went to after xcountry. took neoprints after that and walked around in heeren cos chinwen and gen wanted to look for wallets. home sweet home after that!

Haha okay. had pe in the morning, did serving bumping etc etc and the usual stuff. assessment was extended to next week which was temporary relief (:D) but it probably won't make a difference cos i'm gonna fail anyway.): okay then we had drama, assigned roles and did some linereading. Hahaha i'm the teacher! -.- as in for our play. ohwell it's gonna be awesomezx. :D then was science math geog (free period again!) cme haiyo lazy to elaborate la. Heh. then went to macs and island creamery with iris and chinwen after sch! Haha iris went to order some tiger sorbet thing at island creamery and the person didnt tell her that it contained alcohol. and so we finally realised after a while that the icecream actually contained tiger beer. :O and then chinwen and i started hyperventilating cos we were afraid iris would get drunk haha. but it turned out that she finished the entire cup pek ni de jiu liang hen hao! xD okay no. haiyo the person shld have informed us beforehand tsk.

and now i have this stupid ulcer that's freaking painful. nic smsed me a while ago telling me to go check with a doctor cos it could be mumps. This week has been pretty much eventful whoo! Haha just that yours truly has been too lazy to post which accounts for the lack of updates. and so i shall attempt to recount this week's happenings in chronological order ahaha.

got back chem paper, results were yipeedeedooda(: Haha was pretty happy, at least my mugging paid off yay. later part of the day was music test (HAHA i think i screwed up the listening parts and anything that involved beats and rhythm and musical notes all anyhow do omg. and i was sitting right in front of mrs ho la i kept praying she couldn't see my answers. :x yes i'm a fullfledged music dumdum! haha okay) after that was dance cll made us a grand total of 120 killer ti tuis. wah can die seriously. and then there were xiao tiaos and the pressing down of feet thingum omg my feet were cramping like crazy.): Hahaha and then, highlight of the day- nydc meeting after school! discussed jacket colours and tchers' day gifts. and so it's been brought down to whiteblackgold hooray :D and navybluegreenwhite as plan B! and eewei was hyperventilating about the whole issue of our jackets screaming the raffles colours ahhhh well hilarious xD and the whole tchers' day gifts discussion saga was just. crazy! Haha with gatecrashing(!) and the mums and girlfriends plan etc etc, but it's back to tiles and baking for now(; oh and jess and youjia have officially taken up the honourable task of recruiting sponsors (nike puma adidas lacoste and more haha!) :D andand coming up with slogans- we've decided on blended in style! although before that we were high-ing like no one's business. vishal's lil' girls tsk xD Hahaha we're a crazy lot and proud of it no? love!

nanyang's 90th b'day! morning was 90th anniversary celebrations and school phototaking ahhh happy 90th nanyang!(: spent almost the entire morning standing at the track waiting for all the classes to be coordinated plus arrival of tchers and board of directors and VIPs. almost died of poor ventilation we were squished together like crazy.): oh but it was all worth it since we missed an entire 1.5 hours of langarts haha. and extended recess whooo! rest of the day was pretty normal, except for art maybe cos we spent the lesson analysing abstract art hahah. whatever the sculptors have like, perverse natures lol. tsk. haha then we were supposed to do a sculpture based on one out of four themes so nic and i chose anxiety and serenity. omg our sculpture's like the bomb haha we decided to do some tangled mess to represent anxiety then for serenity it all comes out in a straight line. :D Hahah ingenious yes don't we all love abstract art xD

watched a movie during chinese! ahaha it's called he ni zai yi qi/together. was quite touching although some parts of the plot weren't all that understandable. ohwell was freezing in the LT though cos i didn't bring my jacket along.): then had SPA during science ahaha it went quite well 'cept for the fact that i didn't read the last step for instructions. so i didn't know we were supposed to test for hydrogen gas until the entire thing was over and people told me. haiyo i think i'm like seriously blind i didn't even know the last step existed so i didnt write down the negative tests for hydrogen i feel like smacking myself.): blahz. ohwell after that was geog period but ms yip wasn't going to be here for 2 weeks so we had free period yippee! Haha spent the entire period telling lame cum racist jokes along with chinwen nic iris jac and rahnia omg damn spastic. (: ohyes and it was iris and bev's birthday! Happy birthday you two :D loves. and the cake was yumz haha.

todayy! morning was 9oth anniversary closing ceremony, the musical was pretty good. and i guess it's moments like this with all the collage videos and all, that reassure you that you're proud to be from nanyang(: ohwell happy 90th again ny! wo men yong yuan ai ni <3 and once again, we missed a period of pccg and more than half of langarts yayye haha! got back history paper and i passed! omg heng. :D ohwell 10/16 isn't too bad i guess considering the fact that i expected worse.

Aha yay my skin is no longer screwed(: ohman so weird i think it was because i had too many links. so i removed abt 3/4s of them and now it's fine yippee.

just came back from disturbia @ lido with rahnia nic and gen! was pretty much okay i guess, but towards the end of the show it became increasingly freaky bleah. comparatively it wasn't that much of a horror flick but during the climax me and nic were like covering our eyes we were damn scared): and gen kept laughing weirdly lol. catched rush hour 3 with mum&dad the day before ytd omg it's downright hilarious :D although pretty sick at times heh. but chris tucker is seriously laughter-inducing i almost died laughing on the spot please. ohwell go watch go watch(: i still need to catch bu neng shuo de mi mi! and harry potter still eludes me how sad. WHO WANTS TO EMBARK ON A MOVIE MARATHON!

Hahah crosscountry was pretty much okay cept for the fact that everyone was practically roasting under the sun. vahlau it was seriously so hot that you can like die on the spot pls. Lol but 2/1 was beside us and jingjing had this umbrella so i got occasional shading from the sun :D 202 funrunners were basically walking throughout the entire thing except for the sudden sprinting outbreaks cos we wanted to overtake %. ohwell LOL(: haiyo and so many 202 people ponned xcountry tsk tsk. ahem ahem rahnia ah how could you! ]: Haha ohyes emily was first in level for competitive running! everyone was screaming like craaaaazy omg(: and nic got 15th place :D YAY 202 we rocked the house down <3

went out with jac and her seniors after the thing ended. chinwen and i decided to be extra and tag along haha! jac chinnies and i ate at this hongkong cafe place at cineleisure we were super unglam omg(: cos we ordered this mango ice thingum for dessert and it was humongously humongous so the thing collapsed while we were eating and everyone started screaming and screaming haha. Haha and jac's seniors are super hilarious i tell you they kept breaking out into laughing fits and everyone started laughing like siao pls. Ahaha treated chinwen to baked rice! AC camp day 3!

first half of the day was spent doing round 3 of debates, THW develop robots for military use. adjudicated by yina amandas lisian and we won! then went for lunch at macs, played with the random fiona figurine thing natalee got haha, then cabbed back. after which we (eewei nat nettie shannon me) played the hand game and yi mao qian thing along with juniors. was quite entertaining hoho (: then was exhibition debate which was considerably retarded, mhmm funny to a certain extent i guess :D so nydc just sat at the back crapping and doodling random stuff while freezing to death boo. and eewei was just being plain sarcastic on her feedback form hohum XD and then there were all the scandalous gossips throughout the bus journeys and stuff tsk NYDC is the love la! <3

back from ac debate camp day two!

Day 1 (ytd!)
first day was considerably dry la, uhm peppered with crawshaw's weirded antics as usual. the whole programmes in different colours thing, plus the typical dramatisation ohwell. (: anyways it was basically prep debates prep debates. motion for round 1: THW negotiate with terrorists. was second prop cum reply, lost to eewei's team! then followed nicolette's friend to holland supposedly, for lunch. ended up at some ulu place but lunch turned out to be quite satisfactory so yeah. haha crapping with nydc's always hilarious tsk. then motion for round 2: TH supports the civil use of nuclear energy. did a relatively screwed job as third opp but still we won in the end so yup. (:

am too lazy to recount everything in chronological order, so it's just highlights for today! had so called team building games along the orchard stretch. everything just turned out to be quite ridiculous and. retarded tsk :O merged with eewei's grp, cos they only had 2 people! i guess it was quite fun overall, although we were all quite screwed running arnd the whole of orchard. :D so yup, highlights! in random order.
- doing the modified version of barney's song in front of borders!
- bryan in his shirt, scarf and heels @ marksandspencer! yes we were apparently smarter and called up a more civil student leader XD nick quah's grp had to find someone to wear this dress and a guy in the grp had to pretend to kiss her. tsk (: haha and huiqi very staunchly refused to do it :D
- taking photos with five random people @ commode
- saying i love elmo! to some random person at the toy fair @ taka. and yes yours truly had to qin zi chu ma how embarrasing. :O hohum the original plan at first was for some guy to go to any shop and ask the salesperson whether the shop sells bras. the facils are just ridiculous tsk :X but in the end many shops didnt allow filming within the shop itself cos it's like against the rules. so yeah. - drinking some green tea iceblended thing with a mashed up cranberry and orange muffin inside at starbucks. but the thing turned out to be surprisingly nice in the end so haha :D

Hahhah my blog has been on the verge of dying.

mum bought sushi for dinner again! hah i've decided that i wanna turn jap so i'll get to stuff myself with sushi everyday. :D

anyhow hols so far has been extremely unproductive haha up to now i've only read less than half of shui hu zhuan and there's still romeo&juliet and chi SIA and lit circle and shoepainting and whatnot how depriving. ):

trng today was fun haha! watched the lafest debate showcase video and vishal was being sarcastic as usual how hilarious (: then went to tnh for lunch with jess and iris! boo no more tomyam this is sad.

hahha monday was quite fab! went for trng in the morning and left halfway through RI spar for geog remedial. haha not suprisingly remedial was quite pointless but we got to eat and irritate shyam so not too bad. :D oh and we got class tee! ohman it's so the love(: courtesy of vnc and eiffel! <3 then went back for trng and stood through debrief. hoho then tiff eli and i went to rahnia's house to chill. :D hahah slacked and watched cantonese dramas and played cards and binged on ruffles. going to rahnia's house makes you feel like the ultimate taitai! hawhawhaw. hmm 4th day of leadershipsabbat's over alr! Haha maybe it's just me but it's weird how this week seemingly passes by so quickly. today was relatively okay, first session was spent on mass media. Hoho the hands-on session was velly velly hilarious. :D then me and my fellow princess diana people started camwhoring okay maybe not but still it was really fun yay(: second half of the day was spent giving our speeches hahah thankgoodness i wasnt really nervous so i think i did relatively okay. still everyone who presented today was really fab hahah well done peoplezx! :D

combined sports meet!

was generally quite fun on the whole hawhaw :D three-quarts of the time was spent loitering with iris and nicolette etc haha the whole spur of the moment flower incident xD saw some familiar faces and shyam in action lol. like ohmygoodness for those who actually saw him run it was super freaky haha. but still national record holder and we clinched both first and second for staff relay :D oh and nanyang displayed school spirit <3 cues "nanyang nanyang" (in deep voice) and "hwachong hwachong!" (in squeaky high-pitched voice) teehee :DD

haha after csm went to plaza sing with iris! ate baked rice at swensens and pigged out on takopachi :D met rahnia with the guzheng people! then me and iris randomly walked arnd until we decided to go home and sleep. :D oh then we saw some weirded guy who was super freaky and looked like he was stalking us. we were like super freaked out omg. ): ohwells irritating iris was fun hoho pek you polkadot! xD

bleh i'm losing the urge to blog lately. so that kinda explains why i haven't been updating for eh, a substantial amount of time yes. but still yours truly is finally back to revive zeh blog hohoho :D

so anyway fri was JGs finals! scgs won, followed by cat high 2nd, mgs 3rd and ri 4th. spent half of the time doing ushering and opening/closing the audi door with melanie which was quite torturous cos we ended up standing throughout the whole of zeh first debate ]: teehee iris looked veh veh feminine in the banana suit hahaha. :D oh and david crawshaw was uber hilarious as usual. was outside the audi with mel during the break and we saw him reading his poem to random people he saw. hahaha then mel was like "dont make eye contact dont make eye contact!" and we started pretending to be deeply absorbed with our phones hahah damn amusing omg :D oh yes congrats to yina for clinching top ten best speakers and jamie top five NYDC <3

oh and wed was 3ngles @ hci. was quite ok 'cept for the fact that vanice and i were literally stuck backstage almost the entire time. thanks wifey! hahaha love you too wo de lao po. :D vnc and i were quite amused by jay haha can't believe he's from choir. and yeah ben and glendon were really nice people too [:

CSM tmr! and the day after is labour day. long break mwahaha i'm happy :D got back math test on fri hmm 31/50 quite ok considering it was a killer paper. oh yes dad managed to get complimentary tickets to spiderman 3 so i'm watching it with the family next next week FWALALA :D

OM internal grading ytd! Haha felt it went better than expected considering the fact that we were chionging the entire thing towards the last minute. but still the props, costumes and overall effect turned out to be quite fab so well done everyone :D we so totally pwned love all you funkybananas! felt like switching back to blogger so here i am (: will still be keeping my xanga though, so i'll switch between the two depending on my mood :D

hokay shall post abt ytd! first period was supposed to be la but qiulaoshi switched it with m'yick so we ended up doing li jie which was damn saddening ): after that was science which was just. science. then recess was spent trying to find ms teng with chinwen and chionging li jie. haha history was joy 'cos s.t wasn't here :D we had mrs chua who was supa cute and fun please <3 after that was om! went to the audi to watch the om s'pore teams perform. personally liked the first one and xiaoen's grp's (: lunch was taken up by psl gen meeting but fishcake bought lunch for iris and me. yay thankyoo fishcake!<3 drama was spent doing the short plays. and uhm nick ng didn't seem too pleased :/

after sch was learning journey! visited the supreme court, old parliament house etc etc. haha the tour guide was damn cute her voice was like super high-pitched. and fiona sat at where lee kuan yew used to sit at parliament house :D and nic and i were irritating each other throughout the entire trip haha damn fun.
